This course is offered for beginners and those who have limited experience of this medium, and aims to provide the student with a good grounding in the use of Oil Painting Students are introduced to materials, colour, colour composition, effects and techniques,impasto, painting in layers plus lots of tips etc to give students plenty of confidence in using Oil paint.

Watercolour painting for beginners

This course is offered for beginners and those who have limited experience of this medium, and aims to provide  the student with a good grounding in the use of watercolour. Students are introduced to materials, colour, effects and techniques,  helping to guide the student into using this fantastic medium with confidence and creative flair Subjects included: Still Life, Figurative painting, flower painting, and aspects of landscapes.

This course is aimed at students who would like to improve their current skills A guide to the use of watercolour techniques, enabling students to gain confidence in this fascinating medium. Instruction is given in glazing, wet in wet, and lots more techniques plus use of colour and paper. Students are able to develop their own approach through subjects which include Still Life, Figurative painting, flower painting, and aspects of landscapes. The use of pastels, crayons and other media in connection with watercolour is also introduced.
