FIGURATIVE ART
Paintings that celebrate the beauty and expressive nature of the human form
Dave’s figurative paintings explore the beauty, movement, and expressive qualities of the human form. Whether working from life or imagination, each piece is created with careful observation and a strong understanding of anatomy, light, and composition.
Using traditional media such as oil, pastel, graphite, and watercolour, Dave combines technical accuracy with sensitivity and atmosphere to produce artworks that are both elegant and engaging. From detailed studies to more interpretive pieces, each work seeks to capture the character, gesture, and emotional presence of the figure.
